Illness
If your child is ill during term time, please inform the school either by telephone or verbally before 9.15am on the first day of absence. If we do not receive a call, we will try to telephone home to ensure your child’s safety.
In the case of sickness or diarrhoea children should remain at home for a clear 48 hours after the symptoms have ceased.
Medicine
Please hand medicines to the Academy Secretary or another member of staff for safe keeping. You will be asked to complete and sign an ‘Authority to Administer Medicine’ form as we are not permitted to administer medicines without written authority stating the correct dosage.
